Focus HR Covid-19 Survey – Lessons Learned and the Future

The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent measures taken by the States of Guernsey to safeguard the community, has impacted local business, employers and employees alike. Certain businesses were able to implement remote working, some for the first time, and measures they may have only had considered before now, to continue their business operations, service their customers and ultimately generate revenue.

As many begin to return to work, edging nearing to ‘normality’, and with phase 5 in effect from 20 June 2020 (all going well), Focus are taking the opportunity to analyse what went well during lockdown and begin to turn our thoughts to the short to medium term future.

Thoughts turn to what that may look like and how we can best serve our clients and the local business community. This unprecedented period has brought about many positives for local businesses in the HR and employee relations sphere, while identifying areas which may require further consideration.

Guernsey as a whole has done incredibly well during this time and in the spirit of Guernsey Together and Reviving and Thriving we thought it would be a good time to engage with our clients and the local business community to hear about your experiences, the lessons you have learned and your thoughts for the future.

The survey can be accessed from here.
