Our client, Döhle Yachts is currently recruiting for career opportunities within the fast-paced environment of superyacht crewing.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Take responsibility for a portfolio of crewing clients, building strong relationships with Captains, Pursers, yacht contacts and colleagues.
- Carry out day-to-day crew employment and payroll administration, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Prepare, review and finalise crew employment contracts, addenda, letters and other employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate crew records, vessel information, reports and supporting documentation.
- Ensure seafarer documentation meets relevant Flag State and STCW requirements, including pre-employment checks and monitoring qualification renewals and expiry dates.
- Prepare and process Flag State documentation and, where required, crew certification information.
- Liaise with yacht contacts, owners and internal finance colleagues regarding wage calculations, invoices, funding and crew payments.
- Process crew payments using payroll software and online banking in line with agreed procedures.
- Monitor incoming funds and assist with account reconciliation.
- Co-ordinate crew travel requirements where required.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and assist with crew-related projects.
- Review work, share technical knowledge and provide guidance and training to colleagues where appropriate.
- Identify outstanding actions or potential issues and ensure these are followed through or escalated appropriately.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including occasional travel where required.
Key skills and experience
- Previous experience within crewing administration, ideally with a good understanding of seafarer employment requirements.
- Knowledge of Flag State, STCW and crew certification requirements.
- Experience of crew payroll and employment documentation would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively within a team.
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines and handling competing priorities.
- Able to identify problems, understand their cause and take practical action to resolve them.
- Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident using Microsoft Office; experience of Cello Marine or similar payroll software would be advantageous.
- Able to share knowledge and support colleagues where required.
