Our client, Döhle Yachts is hiring a Crewing Administrator in their Guernsey office. If you have admin experience, strong organisational skills, and can manage crew records and payroll, they want to hear from you!
The Crewing Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the crew employment and payroll functions for the Döhle Yachts Limited (DYL) Group of Companies.
Core tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintenance of crew records and vessel data.
- Preparation of reports and records.
- Drafting and finalising of crew employment contracts and all relevant documentation in respect of the employment of crew members.
- Liaising with other internal departments to ensure smooth and timely payments to all crew.
- Ensuring that seafarers comply with all the specified criteria set out by the Flag State and STCW requirements, including pre-employment checks and ongoing monitoring of qualification renewals and expiry dates.
- Co-ordinating crew travel requirements.
- Processing of Flag State documents and visas.
- Arranging payments to crew via current payroll software and online banking, according to the relevant payment procedures in place.
- Assisting with crew related projects.
- Any other duties as and when reasonably required.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Computer literacy, with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Trainee or Junior Administrator.
- Ideally, a theoretical and practical knowledge of the international and national seafarer certification regulations.
