Apax Partners Guernsey – Senior Administrator (Funds Administration)

Our client, Apax Partners Guernsey Limited are seeking a Senior Administrator to join the Funds Administration team.

Role Overview

This is a client-side role at Apax, sitting at the heart of their private equity platform and working with a collaborative and highly experienced Funds Administration team.

You’ll help lead a small team that prides itself on being approachable, supportive and solutions-focused, while delivering a seamless, best-in-class experience to our global investor base. The role offers real exposure to senior stakeholders, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to shape how they work together as a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and motivate a high-performing team, fostering an open, positive and inclusive working environment
  • Act as a senior point of contact for investor queries, providing clear, thoughtful and timely responses in line with LPAs and side letters
  • Attend GP Investment Committee and investment-related meetings
  • Manage capital call and distribution processes, including monitoring receipts and proactively following up with late payers
  • Assist with fundraising activities, and take ownership of fund closings across the Apax fund platform
  • Oversee the accuracy of investor data and records across all systems
  • Support carried interest arrangements and related investor communications
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with a diverse range of investors, from HNWIs to Sovereign Wealth Funds
  • Help manage team workflows and priorities, ensuring deadlines are met without losing sight of quality or collaboration
  • Work closely with colleagues across Apax and external partners in a constructive, solutions-driven way in order to build a network of contacts
  • Champion continuous improvement, encouraging ideas that make processes smarter, simpler and more effective
  • Lead and drive projects to completion

Experience & Background

  • Experience in investor services, client relations or fund administration within private equity
  • Exposure to coordinating or supporting team workflows, with a collaborative leadership style
  • Confident and comfortable engaging with international investors and internal stakeholders
  • Well organised, proactive and calm under pressure
  • Trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
