St Peters Trust Company Limited – Client Accountant

Our client, St Peters Trust Company Limited are seeking a Client Accountant to join their Accounting team, responsible for preparation of client accounts and ensuring that all the clients’ needs are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the firms’ and subsidiary companies’ ledgers
  • Creditor control
  • Payment processing
  • Cash control
  • Assisting with the preparation of Trust and Company accounts
  • Bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Preparation of investment performance reviews
  • Maintaining records in order to deal with accounts filing deadlines for tax and other regulatory purposes
  • Meeting targets and deadlines regarding productivity and profitability
  • Adopting a pro-active approach regarding the implementation of new systems, procedures and standards to comply with internal and external requirements.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Qualified or part qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience of Trust and Company structures would be desirable but isn’t essential.
