Business Analyst

(Guernsey) A Business Analyst & Report Developer is required within an Information Systems department to be responsible for the following:

- Providing first line support for developing and maintaining employee benefit reports
- Assisting with production of report specifications
- Assessing the data implications of future system changes
- First line support for data queries logged by users on internal helpdesk
- Analysis of issues to determine that impact on the integrity of data and implementing solutions
- Assisting in business analysis and / or system testing

Suitable applicants will need to be able to provide immediate response to reporting/data requirements of customers, have a reasonable level of business awareness to provide acceptable solutions to business users, be customer focused with a high ability in problem solving, a strong attention to detail and a high level of competence in designing queries on a relational database.

The ideal candidate will have a customer focused approach with a sound understanding of development cycles.
